Welcome Back!
The 2026-2027 school year is off to a great start in the Special Services Department. CST case managers have been reaching out to families and making sure students are set in their classes and, in some cases, new school.
Effective communication between teachers, students, families, and support staff is essential in special education because it ensures individualized learning plans are properly implemented and students' unique needs are consistently understood and addressed across all environments. Please reach out to teachers, case managers and the Special Services department if you have questions or concerns about your child’s program.
We will continue our partnership with Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. at Clinton Township Middle School. Our program will resume in October and permission slips will go home in September for students participating. Therapy dogs provide students with a positive and calming experience. Research suggests that interactions with therapy animals can reduce stress, increase motivation, and provide emotional support.
